Our task is to make healthy food available and affordable for all New Yorkers regardless of their life’s situation. Our goal is to turn the empty and purposeless rooftops of the City, one by one, from vacant spaces, into elegant and functional gardens and farms. You can help by starting a roof farm or a mini farm on your terrace, balcony, or outdoor space. Inner City Farms will help with installation or advice! We intend to do this by offering generous wages, benefit programs, free produce to eat, and a work program that doubles as an educational curriculum in sustainable urban agriculture.
