<image:caption>Our Goals New York City residents continue to face a food crisis that has lasted almost since the foundation of the City. Our task is to make healthy food available and affordable for all New Yorkers regardless of their life’s situation. Our goal is to turn the empty and purposeless rooftops of the City, one by one, from vacant spaces, into elegant and functional gardens and farms. You can help by starting a roof farm or a mini farm on your terrace, balcony, or outdoor space. Inner City Farms will help with installation or advice! We are also interested in helping anyone in need who wants to feel the healing effects of growing food and flowers.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Future Plans As we transform rooftops around the city, we plan on working with the criminal justice community, the mental health and addiction community, the homeless community, and the veteran community to create valuable and dignified work opportunities as potential farmers and farm owners. We intend to do this by offering generous wages, benefit programs, free produce to eat, and a work program that doubles as an educational curriculum in sustainable urban agriculture.</image:caption>
